What does one do.... in paradise?

Another day in Iru Fushi... another day in paradise.  Have to plan out my time in paradise.... who'd have thought I could plan my time in paradise!

The views of paradise..... take your breath away...

Perhaps today is the day I could take a canoe out into the Indian Ocean.... and skim along through the blue waters!

Sailing... I've never been sailing.... maybe the time is right to go sailing in paradise!

Or... I could just lay back and enjoy the day...

Maybe spend time in a loung chair at the Jungle Pool...

Walk the island and explore the plant life...

Fascinating how this tree sends down so many roots.  Interesting attraction I have to this tree.... it sends out some very nice vibes...

That's it!  Para-sailing, or whatever that floatation device is called!  I'd love to just skim over the blue waters...

Or is it time to finish that book?

Another nap already?  I don't think it is even 10 a.m.!

Sit in a sauna!  That's what I'll do.... sit in a little wooden room where the temperature is 93 degrees and the humidity is 80% or more...

Hold onto your horses..... why sit in a sauna when I'm living in one...  the Maldives Islands are the equivalent of one huge 24/7 sauna!

Walks are always a nice option...
Or maybe going out to the dive shop on the left.... and some early morning snorkeling...

It's the monster from the green lagoon!  No wonder the fish swim away from me....

Let's go to the spa!  The smells at the entrance  are heavenly.... and me, who is so allergic to smells... well, in paradise.... the aromas are healing...

Sit in either of the pools, as I wait for a massage.... that could work...

The Hilton's Signature Massage..... Chocolate Delight!  Only $420 for two hours!   Wonder if it's the white chocolate or the really dark chocolate?

Note:  that price is for a couple.

A nice stroll through the spa's gardens would be calming..

Sit and listen to the bubbling waters ....
Meditate on the many shades and colours of blue...

Slow down and enjoy the beauty of last night's rain...

Stop and focus on the little, colorful parts of nature.

Admire the uniqueness ....

Find a quiet place..... and meditate.

Searching for ...... and finding.....

Morning sunrise and billowy clouds.

Memories of Minnesota.... my Mother loved to grow these plants.... and this color thrived best under her care.

Time for a swim?

Or time to just chill....

The blue is magnificient!  Maybe I could spend my day just enjoying the view of blue....

Wander around the island until....

The sun sets..... over my day in paradise.....

Delicious - enormous buffet breakfast with endless choices

Hmmmm.... let's start with dragon and star fruit, then muesli with dried fruit, couple pieces of bacon, smoked turkey breast, couple of olives, oranage juice and cranberry juice..... and coffee.

Look below as to what I had to choose from!

Apples, oranages, cold cut meats, cut veggies, cooked cereals and yogurt, white toast.

Fresh fruit, bins of dry cereal, fresh European cheeses, milk, cream.

Freshly baked pastries!

Eggs.... any way you want them prepared.... just for you!

Cooked oatmeal, white rice and a variety of currys, Maldivian tuna with chapati, waffles, french toast, pancakes, stir fried vegetables made to order, potatoes, steamed tomatoes, lamb sausages, baked beans, bacon, scrambled eggs.

All types of breads, from rolls to long rye loaves, multi-grain, pumpkin bread, banana bread......

Maldivian blue

Where else can one see water, so very blue... pristine blue...

Snorkeling in the Maldives

I've got what I need to go off and ......

Find Nemo!

View of Iru Fishu..... paradise in the Maldives

The million dollar view from my little hut on the island.

The Reflection Pool.... overlooking the Indian Ocean.  One of three swimming pools at the resort.

Chill'n by the pool.

White sand - blue water

The island has changed me..... so, so relaxing.

I'm hardly even a shadow of who I use to be.

I keep pinching myself..... can this place be real?

The pedestrian highway to a blue heavenly paradise.

I think I could move into that "hut" and meditate for a live time on ..... blue.....

No photo shop, no touching up at all.... this is the real thing.... paradise island living.

Don't think my retirement pension would cover even the nightly stay in one of these water bungalows!

The wooden pedestrian highway back to the island.

Location, location, location.....

As unreal as these photos look... these exclusive-delux huts on Iru Fishu are real! I walked the walkway... I took the photos. They're real!

A wooden boardwalk took me out to the huts in the blue...

Individual walk ways to one's individual, private hut.

A mass of wooden walkways out into the Indian Ocean, all leading to a little bit of paradise.

What a view from one's window in paradise!

A cluster of huts, suspended over the Indian Ocean, in a paradise of endless shades of blue.

White sands, palm trees, and the blue, blue waters of the Indian Ocean.

Iru Fishu - Finding Jack!

Welcome to Iru Fushi Resort and Spa in the Maldives!

A warm welcome and general orientation to this five star Hilton Hotel Resort and Spa in the Maldives.

The blue waters are breathtakingly beautiful!

The early morning ferry from Holhudhoo dropped me off at the far end of this walkway.

The waters are spectacular!

Welcome to Iru Fushi!

Upgraded from standard to delux!  With a view of the ocean.... just over there.

My paradise palace with a million dollar view!

View from my new Iru Fushi home.

My "dressing" room leads to the door to a huge private open air bathroom.

The bed is gigantic!

A nice big spa in my open air bath area.... very private, so behind the spa, one could work on getting a total tan...

Open bath area.... spa in the middle, white bathrobes hanging behind.... sinks on both sides, glassed in stool on left and glassed in shower on the right.

The shower.... towels,  soaps , creams... everything I need.

Opposite the glassed in shower is the glassed in stool.

Sink on either side of the spa...

My own personal business center in my room along with a million cable stations.  Well, it seems like there are a lot of stations!

Private cabana in front of my Hilton palace.

The island has its own airport!

Seemingly endless white sand beaches and even more endless turquois blue water!
